David Turoff DVM and Michelle Lee DVM are the large animal vets for Winterfalls Ranch. David Turoff, DVM, a well known and highly respected local veterinarian, established Foothill Mobile Veterinary Service in El Dorado County in 1983, immediately following graduation from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Lee is a 2007 graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a one year internship at Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center in Loomis, CA. She has been with Foothill Mobile Veterinary Service since 2008, providing routine and emergency services several days per week. She enjoys nearly all aspects of mobile veterinary work, from vaccinating goats to emergency laceration repair.
Foothill Mobile Veterinary Service is focused on the treatment of horses, as well as llamas and alpacas, and sheep and goats. We perform diagnoses (including examination and radiographs) and care of these animals on site and provide routine preventive and 24-hour emergency service.
We also offer reproductive examination and ultrasound, as well as equine dentistry, using modern motorized instruments. Foothill Mobile Veterinary Services has been established for 28 years. Our staff is highly trained and has acquired extensive experience in the field. We are dedicated to providing up-to-the-minute, comprehensive medical services to these unique large animals.
From dentistry to snake bites to injury and lameness we are happy to serve as expert and compassionate partners with you. We are known throughout the region for our expertise and our special brand of caring.
